Nature Safe 10-2-8 All Season Fertilizer is formulated as a highly concentrated fertilizer and is well suited for soils with nitrogen and potassium deficiencies. Nature Safe 10-2-8 contains various pet food grade protein meals that slowly release over a 7-8 week period. Carbohydrates in the form of simple sugars and starches will stimulate microbial activity. Humus has been added to improve Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC), buffer the soil against extreme salt concentrations and improve soil structure for tolerance during heat and drought conditions. Nature Safe 10-2-8 is non-burning and very low in salt. Virtually all of the product is utilized through complete plant uptake resulting in minimal leaching and volatilization. Nature Safe acts as a sponge in retaining moisture and nutrients for plant use, especially in sandy soils. Nature Safe 10-2-8 All Season Fertilizer is OMRI listed and is allowed under NOP guidelines validating its use in the production of organic certified crops.
