The Importance of Cultural Practices for Golf Courses

About this video

Certain aspects of golf course maintenance (collectively referred to as "cultural practices" by superintendents) can seem intrusive to players.

Harrell's interviewed Robert Wiemer, Superintendent of Timber Pines Country Club, to discuss his cultural practices and why they're such an important part of his overall maintenance program.

We also take a closer look at core aerification, and how it promotes healthy, playable turf.

Check out the Harrell's YouTube Channel for more videos on a variety of topics relevant to the turf, horticulture and specialty agriculture industries.
