Rhizoctonia

Welcome to the Rhizoctonia course!

Rhizoctonia is a genus of fungus that is usually soil borne. Many species are plant pathogens, but some are harmless.

The name Rhizoctonia comes from the Greek rhiza for root and ktonos for killing, hence the genus name means “root killing”.
