Turn on the news any day now. What do you hear? Having the goods we need delivered on time is getting harder and harder. Unfortunately, products showing up late is the “new normal.” Harrell’s knows late deliveries are costly and potentially catastrophic to crops, golf courses, ornamentals, and turf.

Thankfully, we continue to be blessed year after year with growth and success. Our success collectively is only possible with the professional drivers we have climbing into our trucks every day. As the nation is crippled with shortages in all workforces, the trucking industry has been faced with a driver shortage for years. Despite these challenges, Harrell’s has continued to pride itself on the character and quality of our drivers while expanding the areas they serve.

Celebrating Our Drivers

This year, our nation has set aside the week of September 11th – 17th to honor and champion professional truck drivers during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. These 78 Harrell’s hauling professionals sacrifice their time to grow the extra mile. They meet the needs of our customers, while maintaining a dedication to safety and compliance that allows them to make it home to their families.

Their days regularly start as we are still sleeping and often last 14+ hours. Each year, more than 3.5 million men and women in the trucking industry log hundreds of billions of miles, delivering over ten billion tons of freight to over three-quarters of our communities. We all count on truck drivers to deliver over 80% of what we have in our homes. Trucking means business, and these dedicated drivers continue to deliver Harrell’s to America.

We at Harrell’s count on these 78 drivers, THE BEST PROFESSIONAL DRIVERS IN THE INDUSTRY, to keep us going and growing. Ask any salesperson, and they will applaud their drivers who get the job done for them every day. Our drivers take great pride in what they do, so please join me in taking great pride in them this week!

You will not know all the names listed below, but I would encourage you to take the time to read each one, as we thank them for what they mean to us. For those of you who do know, reach out to them. Let them know how much you and all of us appreciate what they do.
