As you know, plant nutrition requires all 17 plant nutrients.  Most of you have seen the illustration of the wooden barrel with the staves representing the elements (Liebig’s Law).  This illustrates that if any nutrient is lacking, the barrel will not hold water, which represents plant health or yield.

This illustration represents the necessity of each element regardless of amount in relationship to the other nutrients.  This means that if zinc is absent, even though the level needed for plant health is minor relative to nitrogen, the plant will still not grow to full capacity.

For many years we’ve relied on granular forms of minor elements to supply the plant.  While this has been adequate for the most part I think there is a better way to supply these nutrients to your crop.

This video by Dr. Travis Shaddox discusses the practical aspect of applying granular minor nutrients.  I would suggest you explore using liquid applications of minors to your crop in order to get a more uniform application and better plant health, which will result in less waste and higher yields.

Como ustedes saben, nutrición de plantas requiere toda 17 nutrientes de plantas.  Muchos de ustedes han visto la ilustración del barril de madera con la duela representando los elementos. (Liebig’s Law) (illustration of the wooden barrel with the staves representing the elements).  Esta ilustra que si falta algún nutriente, el barril no aguantara el agua, que representa salud y rendimiento de la planta.

La ilustración representa la necesidad de cada elemento a pesar de la cantidad en relación a los nutrientes.  Esto significa que si zinc está ausente, y aunque los niveles necesario para la salud de la planta es relativo a nitrógeno, la planta no crecerá a su capacidad completa.

Por muchos años hemos dependido en la forma de granular de elementos menores en suplir las plantas.  Aunque esto ha sido adecuado por la mayor parte yo pienso que hay una mejor forma para suplir estos nutrientes para sus cultivos.

Este video por el Dr. Travis Shaddox discute el práctico aspecto de aplicar granular menor nutriente.  Yo sugeriría que explore el uso de aplicación de líquidos de menores para su cultivo a fin de obtener una aplicación uniforme y mejor salud de plantas, lo cual resultara en menos gastos y mayor rendimiento.
