In the plant nutrition world there are many terms we use to describe fertilizers. There are local and regional terms which are used and can be confusing. Here is a UF/IFAS publication defining quick release (QRF), slow release (SRF) and controlled release (CRF): click here to download. 

There is a new term now used in describing the next generation of fertilizers, enhanced efficiency fertilizers (EEF).  Enhanced efficiency fertilizers are defined by The Fertilizer Institute as fertilizer products that can reduce nutrient losses to the environment while increasing nutrient availability for the plant or crop. Polyon is in this new generation!

Rapido, Lento, Controlado, Realzado… Que Significa Todo

En el mundo de nutrición de plantas hay muchas terminologías para describir fertilizantes.  Hay terminologías locales y regionales las cuales son usadas y que pueden causar confusión. He aquí una publicación UF/IFAS definiendo liberación rápida (QRF), liberación lenta (SRF) y liberación controlada (CRF): Haga clic aquí para bajar (click here to download).  Hay una nueva terminología usada ahora en describir la próxima generación de fertilizante, realzado eficiente fertilizante (EEF). Realzado eficiente fertilizante son definido por El Instituto De Fertilizante como producto fertilizante que puede reducir la perdida de nutrientes al el ambiente mientras aumenta la disponibilidad del nutriente para la planta o cultivo.  ¡Polyon está en la nueva generación!
