In today's episode, Dr. Raymond Snyder, Dr. Jeff Atkinson and Jason Frank of Harrell's are joined by Dr. Billy Crow, Nematologist at the University of Florida. They are discussing management plans, tools and techniques to deal with plant-parasitic nematodes.
More About Dr. Crow
William T. (Billy) Crow is a Professor in the UF Entomology and Nematology Department. He has a Ph.D. in Nematology from University of Florida, an MS in Agronomy from Auburn University, and a BS in Agriculture from University of Hawaii at Hilo. Dr. Crow has a 60% Extension and 40% Research appointment specializing in diagnosis and management of plant-parasitic nematodes that effect turfgrasses and ornamental plants. He is also the Director of the UF Nematode Assay Lab. His research focuses on developing improved diagnostic methods and integrated pest management strategies. His extension programs focus on helping clientele determine the causes of nematode problems and educating them how to avoid and manage them in ways that are effective, sustainable, and cost effective.
