We mourn the loss of Lee Crosby, a respected Territory Manager, longtime employee, and cherished member of the Harrell's family whose impact on the company, its customers, and the turf industry will be felt for years to come.

Having started at Harrell’s in 1997, Lee dedicated his career to serving customers throughout Florida's turf and golf markets, building trusted relationships through his agronomic knowledge, unwavering integrity, and genuine commitment to helping others succeed. Throughout his time at the company, he earned the respect of customers and colleagues alike by consistently putting people first and approaching every interaction with professionalism, humility, and care.

As a member of Harrell's first sales team, Lee played an important role in helping establish the foundation for the company's growth. During a pivotal period in Harrell's history, he helped expand the company's presence, build customer trust, and strengthen relationships across the turf industry. His efforts contributed to the reputation for service and partnership that continues to define Harrell's today.

Lee's dedication and performance were recognized throughout his career, including his induction into Harrell's prestigious Rolex Club in both 2011 and 2015. These achievements reflected not only his professional success but also the respect and confidence he earned from customers and coworkers throughout the organization.

While Lee's accomplishments were significant, those who knew him best will remember something even more meaningful: the way he cared for people. He was known for building genuine friendships, investing in others, and making a lasting difference in the lives of customers, coworkers, and members of the communities he served. According to those who worked alongside him, Lee touched countless lives both inside and outside of Harrell's through his generosity, service, and commitment to helping others.

"As a member of our early sales team, he played an important role in building relationships, expanding our reach, and establishing the reputation that Harrell's enjoys today. More importantly, Lee cared deeply about people. His impact extended far beyond business, and his legacy will live on through the countless customers, friends, coworkers, and family members whose lives he touched."

As a member of the Florida Turf team, Lee worked closely with golf course superintendents and turf professionals, providing technical guidance, agronomic support, and practical solutions to help their operations succeed. He was passionate about educating customers and sharing knowledge that improved outcomes on the properties he served.

"It's difficult to put into words what Lee meant to Harrell's and to those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him. Lee wasn't just a great salesperson,” said Florida Sales Director, Adam Ellison. “He was a trusted advisor, a loyal teammate, and a true friend to so many people throughout our industry. He had a unique ability to build relationships that went far beyond business, and his customers became lifelong friends. As one of the pioneers of our sales organization, Lee helped lay the groundwork for the growth and success we enjoy today. His impact can be seen across the state of Florida and throughout Harrell's. We will miss his wisdom, his character, and his friendship, but we will never forget the example he set for all of us."

We extend our deepest condolences to Lee's family, including his wife and daughter, Keely, and Madeline, as well as to the many friends, customers, and colleagues mourning his loss.

While we grieve the loss of a remarkable colleague and friend, we also celebrate a life defined by faith, service, relationships, and a commitment to helping others. Lee Crosby leaves behind a legacy woven into the history of Harrell's and carried forward by the many people he influenced throughout his life and career.
