Conclusion:

In a trial conducted in conjunction with the University of Arkansas from June - September 2019, plots treated with Hydro-Cure® showed significant increase in turf quality and decrease in the occurrence of Localized Dry Spot.

Details:

This study was conducted in conjunction with the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. The study was conducted on a ‘Pure Distinction’ creeping bentgrass putting green. Soil type was a USGA sand-base that contained 1% organic matter. The mowing height was 0.125” throughout this study. Treatment applications were made using a CO2 sprayer, and treatment applications were made inside a spray shield with a single Tee-Jet nozzle boom, at an application volume of 2 gallons per 1,000 ft². Study design was a randomized complete block with four replications. Applications were made monthly on May 22, June 19, July 17, Aug 14, and September 11 of 2019.
