In accordance with the suggested manufacturer operating procedures for Lely and Vicon spreaders, Harrell’s recommends observing the following operating procedures when spreading Harrell’s granular fertilizer:

LELY:

• The agitator should NOT be used when spreading granular fertilizer.
• The agitator should only be used when spreading powdery fertilizer or slags.

VICON:

• Never mount the stirring device when spreading granulated fertilizer.
• The stirring device is only intended for fertilizer that does not easily flow through regulating disc, i.e. damp fertilizer, lime or Basic Slag.
• When closing the regulating disc for any length of time, disengage p.t.o. to prevent pulverizing the granular fertilizer.

Please consult the manufacturer’s operator’s manual for specific information regarding the operation of a specific fertilizer make and model.
