Competition, as it is defined, is 'a rivalry between companies in a business sector selling and marketing similar products with a goal of achieving additional revenue, profit, and market share growth.’ Regarding a marketing concept, many companies use the “Four Ps” product, promotion, price, and place as a foundation of successful selling in a competitive industry. We here at Harrell’s strive to set ourselves apart from the competition when it comes to the Four Ps of marketing concepts. Take Care of People is one of Harrell’s Core Values, a value that extends both internally to employee-owners and externally to Harrell’s valued customers, vendors, and partners.  From the hard-working production workers in the manufacturing plants, warehouse employees, drivers in distribution, all the way to the customer service and accounting teams, our site support teams are ready, willing, and able to cater to your needs on a day-to-day basis. For agronomic crisis and periodic consultation, the two Ph.D’s on staff, Dr. Raymond Snyder, and Dr. Jeff Atkinson, provide unparalleled advice and research to the issues that affect customers today. Knowledge and information are disseminated quickly with the help of the Marketing and IT teams, who are constantly on the leading edge of social media and technology to support the Harrell’s mission throughout the various markets we cover. The seminar and trade show support team provides a seamless transition from start to finish of any event the Harrell’s company is involved. Lastly, for you, our customers, your MyHarrells account helps you track billing information, credit card payments, open orders, and annual programs that you are participating in. 

PRICE & QUALITY

Every market throughout the entire United States that is involved with the green industry is competitive. Some distributors base their philosophy on lowering the price of their products, and that in turn will equate to sales. Harrell’s philosophy, which began back in 1941, is to offer quality products at a fair market value price. In addition to POLYON® fertilizer, we continue to audit your needs against our product offerings and adjust, as needed. This year, we released Harrell’s Protect MAX. Our first step in the pesticide market is to provide you with stop-gap products to meet your short-term needs. Wherever you are, that’s where we aim to be. We’ve strategically located the twenty-four Harrell’s locations throughout the United States to serve you better. We continue to analyze our warehouse and servicing schedules to best meet your needs.  Although we are headquartered in the southeastern U.S., with our corporate office in Lakeland, Florida, we are a nationwide company serviced by over a hundred outside sales reps covering all these locations. There is no location geographically that the company cannot service in the United States. We are here for you, wherever you are.
