In a trial conducted in conjunction with the University of Arkansas from June - September 2019, plots treated with Fleet® showed significant increase in turf quality and decrease in the occurrence of Localized Dry Spot.
This study was conducted in conjunction with the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR. The study was conducted on a ‘Pure Distinction’ creeping bentgrass putting green. Soil type was a USGA sand-base that contained 1% organic matter. The mowing height was 0.125” throughout this study. Treatment applications were made using a CO2 sprayer, and treatment applications were made inside a spray shield with a single Tee-Jet nozzle boom at an application volume of 2 gallons per 1,000 ft2. Study design was a randomized complete block with four replications. Applications were made monthly on May 22, June 19, July 17, Aug 14, and September 11 of 2019.
