EarthMAX® organic is a unique soil additive designed to promote maximum soil and plant health in turf and ornamental programs. Where Does EarthMAX® Organic Come From?

The origins of EarthMAX® organic are found in an ancient cypress bog located deep within southeast Georgia. Accumulation and slow decomposition of the cypress material over the course of thousands of years has resulted in the unique composition of EarthMAX® organic relative to other organic sources such as sphagnum peat reeds, edge peat, and other low carbon and low biologically active sources of organic matter.

How is EarthMAX® Organic Made?

The process for mining and processing EarthMAX® organic into liquid and dry offerings begins with harvesting humus from the carbon-rich cypress bog basin. The harvested humus is then collected and utilized in the process for creating EarthMAX® organic liquid or stored for use as EarthMAX® organic dry. The procedure for creating the EarthMAX® organic liquid involves using freshly harvested humus and dissolving the carbon rich cypress substrate into water.

Once all dissolvable components are solubilized, the remaining solids are screened. The carbon-rich liquid containing humic acid is then transferred into storage containers for direct use in packaging and labeling.

The simplistic, unmodified process for creating EarthMAX® organic preserves the natural, highly desired qualities that make EarthMAX® organic a valued soil additive in the turf, ornamental, landscape, and specialty agriculture markets.
