With the first hurricane of the season upon us, it’s not too late to make sure you have yourself and your turf prepared. Hurricane Elsa looks like she will be affecting much of Florida and the Southeast throughout most of next week.

When protecting yourselves or your homes, most of us remember the critical supplies; like water, flashlights and first aid. What about other items like personal records, pet records, and insurance documents, to name a few? To make sure you’re prepared for hurricane season, you can use this checklist from the National Hurricane Center. 

With regards to your turf, tropical systems can bring excessive rainfall and overcast skies for extended periods of time. Under these conditions, your turf will be exposed to many environmental stressors and increased disease pressure. Here is a short list of products to help water push through greens profiles, as well as preventative and curative disease applications:
