With an extremely wet start to 2019 in the southeast we are all still wondering when the ice and snow is going to show its ugly head.  Hopefully we do not have a deep freeze again set things back for everyone this spring.  With all this rain we have been having, keeping the water moving is key this time of the year.  Here are a few ways to help get you through the winter months with a healthier plant and break dormancy successfully. 

Soil moisture management with Fleet® and EarthMAX® Bi-weekly applications and continue through green-up of this combo is a great way to kick start your soil by spraying Fleet® and EarthMAX®.  This contains beneficial soil biology, soil carbon and plant available trace elements while applying our HydrOtecH technology that increases soil oxygen content, water infiltration and hydraulic conductivity.

Greens Foliar application during winter months every 21 days

This is basic “Winter” spray that incorporates Title Phyte with Root Enhancer, Ca, Iron Mn.  At the end of the day, you are applying minimal N, but providing exceptional color and a balanced Fe to Mn ratio for exceptional color!

Replenish the Soil

As Green-up occurs and clipping ratios increase: apply granular fertilizer on dry turf and water in immediately after application.  Here are two of our more popular greens grade products for spring applications.

Adding Amino Pro V to foliar program once soil temps are conducive to growth.  Amino Pro V is an innovative fertilizer derived from plant-based protein hydrolysate. This plant-derived fertilizer is rapidly absorbed by leaves, shoots, and roots then translocated throughout the plant.
