Harrell’s has recently acquired the facility and operations of the 300-acre Ram Peat property in Avon Park, Florida. The company will be a subsidiary of Harrell’s LLC, and will be called Harrell’s Horticultural Products LLC. The property is also a great central location for our Florida customers. Our goal is to blend the highest quality Florida peat with quality amendments and fertilizer products to give you the best growing media for your plants, trees and shrubs.
Harrell’s Horticultural Products plans to commence production at the facility on January 3, 2011. During this transition, Harrell’s will be taking the opportunity to make capital improvements and conduct basic site maintenance prior to re-opening.
